One of the things that I am often asked is … “where is this place?” When my reply is “Elk Grove”, people seemed to be perplexed and their next question is … “where in Elk Grove?” If you look around, you can find so many possibilities in this suburb of Sacramento California. This past Monday, I had an awesome photosession with Jazely, a beautiful High School student from Sacramento. As he mother looked on, as well as sis, we went ahead and had a blast photographing this young lady. The results? Well … the results speak for themselves. Enjoy the images …

Chicago… what a beautiful city! I am in love with Chicago … the people, the food, the city landscape, Wrigley Field … did I say the people? My experience inChicagowas absolutely positive. I want to thank Andy and Michele Rivera for their wonderful hospitality while staying in the area. The photos below are from a workshop that was being conducted by Lito Sy in Chicago which the Riveras hosted. By bringing Lito to Chicago, they opened up a world of possibilities to local Chicago photographers. All of these events combined was truly an extraordinary experience!

On April 14 I had an awesome photosession with a beautiful Indian client named Pooja. We splitted the session on an indoor and then outdoor experience. The pics came out just beautiful and it was an easy task for me as all I had to do is capture the moment. Enjoy the pics!

Albita de Rodriguez … the Pride of San Miguel

I had the privilege and the honor of photographing one of San Miguel living legends … Albita de Rodriguez this past October. “Niña Albita” as she is well known is perhaps one of the most humble people that I have ever met. With one of the sweetest smiles that you ever seen, it reflects her personality and embodies the warmth and attention that she gives you when you first meet her. She will soon celebrate her wedding anniversary in December and I wanted to capture the love and affection between Niña Albita and her husband. It was a brief session, but one that will last a life time once they receive their beautiful print. In the mean time … enjoy the pics!

Hello everyone,

For those who think that I have fallen off the face of the earth … well, I have not … I am still here! I have temporarily left Facebook to take care of some pressing matters that require all my attention at this time. As far as this Blog is concerned, it will continue to exist and there is no change in that regard.

I want to thank those friends who message me and called me to inquire about my absence and my well being and I want to assure them that everything is going well at my end. I most likely see you at the beginning of next year.

Elegance and Sophistication in El Salvador

One of the neat things about being a photographer is the joy that I bring when I deliver an image that makes you go … WOW!!! That is my goal on every image that I capture and needless to say that I what I accomplished in this session. My client reflected an air of sophistication, elegance and poise that I wanted to convey in these portraits. Bringing a smile to her face was a matter of showing her what I had accomplished … now I show you and don’t you think that these portraits can really bring a smile to your face as well?

Beauty and Sophistication in San Miguel

San Miguel is a city located about 90 miles from San Salvador (just about the same distance as between San Francisco and Sacramento). The humidity during this session was about 95% and the temperature about the same (95 F). Yet the challenge was to photograph beautiful Diana and capture her beauty under such conditions. I guess people in San Miguel are used to this heat because Diana was cool and collected and I was perspiring like if my life was about to end. After meeting Diana, it stroke me how sweet, kind and humble this young woman is … indeed a very rare combination of beauty and humility. The session was short, but the results … well … you be the judge. Enjoy the pics!
